INSTAGRAM has blamed an artificial intelligence gaffe for shocking hashtags promoting eating disorders.Almost a dozen hashtags being used to share "unhealthy and dangerous attitudes towards food and body image" were found circulating on the site – without any warnings. When you search for terms like "anorexia", "proanorexia" or "bulimia" on Instagram , you'll be blocked by a warning message asking if you need help. This policy has been in place since 2016, to protect users looking for sensitive topics on the site.
